Therapy Services

I offer individual, couples, and family therapy sessions. Individual therapy sessions are typically scheduled as 50-minute sessions. For couples and families, 90-minute sessions are recommended to ensure each participant has time to feel heard during the session.

I believe that individualized treatment produces the best results. The frequency of sessions may vary over the course of treatment and will be determined based on your unique goals and circumstances. In addition to standard weekly sessions, intensive therapy sessions are offered when working on a specific goal that requires a longer session time. Supportive therapy such as coaching, meal support, and exposure-based outings are also offered as additional services to enhance your therapy experience.

Navigating Insurance Reimbursement

Although I do not participate in-network with any insurance plans, I encourage you to contact your insurance company and find out if your policy offers out-of-network reimbursement under your mental health benefits. I maintain documentation standards as required by most insurance companies, and can provide copies of your treatment plan and treatment progress if requested.

If you choose to seek reimbursement from your insurance company, I will provide you with an invoice containing the necessary billing codes and information for the services rendered in each session.

I’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:

  • Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
  • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it, and have I met it yet?
  • Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
  • Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?

Payment

Payment is due at the time of service. Credit Card, Cash, and Checks are accepted for payment.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.
